HDM got another call from GABR (Guardian Angel Basset Rescue) on Wednesday (12-30). They were needing to get a basset from Southern Illinois to his new foster home in Peoria, IL before the new year. And of course HDM jumps at every chance she gets to rescue and bring a basset to its foster home or fur-ever home.
So if you are looking for a very good looking basset boy check out Joey on the GABR website. He is currently learning the ropes in his foster home but looking for a fur-ever home to call his home.

All Joey wanted to do was get up in the front seat and sit on HDM's lap all the way home. I just need me some snuggle time.

Oh Joey looks adorable! We are so happy that he has a good foster home while he waits for his forever home. We bassets really don't like being in kennels!

Sorry we have been AWOL - lots going on with these humans and we lost our blog roll but today we have sat and made sure it is fixed!
