October Randomness

We had several great weeks in October for Illinois and Mom has been trying to keep us occupied and take lots of walks with us.  Though we don't have a lot of great places to walk we have gotten to go to the people park a few times near our 2-legged brothers house.  Other then that we just get to walk around the small pond that is located near our house, but this getting boring because we have done like those sniffs 1,000 times or more. So here are just some miscellanous pictures we have taken on some walks and stuff through the month of October.  We hope we get a few more good days/weeks before the snow starts flying, as our Mom is a huge, did we say HUGE, wimp when it comes to the cold.  So she says she is getting all our walks in know before the snow blows, yea right Lady....

So here ya go with some picture overload

This is "Forrest Park" near our 2-legged brothers house

This is Winston looking for his drink and snacks after we got back from the park.  This is in our 2-legged brothers back yard

This is us resting in the park shelter

Okay, this is the top of the shelter

And know for some of the most awesome pictures (okay, I am a little bias) on these because I actually have no idea how they turned out so well.  I have a Fuji DSLR camera that has lots of settings, but I don't have a clue how to use them.  I normally keep it on "Auto/Shake Free" mode.  I need to take a class to learn about all the various setting and stuff.  Okay, enough babbling here ya go.

Out our back door

This is my one and only Trick or Treater that I had this year.  This is my great nephew who was dressed as a dog.  Oh, so cute.  It was actually suppose to be a St. Bernard but he would not wear the barrel.  I just think he looked like a hound dog which just tickeled me "orange".

Check out that little tail

  2. Oh, your little grand nephew is just so precious - love that tail:) Your photos are awesome Mom is in the market for a new camera but she has no clue how to use those fancy DSLRs.

We like to go for walks too, but we usually stick around our neighborhood. And the Momster is like yours, she doesn't like winters, too cold and she worries about falling:(

  3. Is that cat a bully cat? I hope not! I LOVE the photos of the sunrise, and mommy says that your nephew in that costume is precious. And I love your human brother's back yard -- looks like lots of space to run. :)

Hope you had a safe and happy Halloween! :)

    Woofs & hugs, <3

  4. I do everything on auto on my camera too. I too need to take a class or just play with it. I am too impatient to take the time.
Love seeing pictures of the leaves and the hound dogs and the little bean dressed up. The sunset was fantastic. We think those pictures were great.

  11. Those sunset pictures are beautiful!

Your nephew is ADORABLE! He must have gotten tons of candy wherever he went.

If you're looking for somewhere close to home to go for a nice walk head to Comlara Park by Lake Evergreen. It's ten or fifteen minutes drive from Bloomington and it's a beautiful place with TONS of stuff to sniff!
