Mango Minster - 2012 - Official Entry

Last year we entered Cleo, Winston and Amiee in the Cracker Critter category which we felt they fit right into this category for a basset hound any way.  It was so much fun, even though we didn't win because we found their are some pretty darn good Cracker Critters out their in blogville.

Will this year, we have had a hard time deciding if we wanted to do individual entries, because Amiee says she is just too Darn Cute, Winston says he is quite Adventures and our newest addition Bella, seems to fit the too Darn Cute category as well.  But of course our human has the deciding factor on which category she wants to place us in, no matter how much we voice our opinions.  So this year, she did it again.......

Our Mango Minister

Official Entry Post

For

Cracker Critters
You know who you are...
But just in case. If you tend to run mental fits around even after a brisk walk of 87 miles, if you rip into stuffies like nobody's business, if you go all animal predator if there is even a suggestion of a rodent on the property, or exhibit any other generally nutty behavior, well, then, you ARE a cracker critter.

***********
This is an action shot which we thought was Bella, but we had a few people comment on this picture when we posted it and they believe it is the "Spirit of Cleo" joining in on the fun.  We just knew she wanted to pawticipate again this year in the Mango Minster as a Cracker Critter.

Okay, I can play this game too

I said, take that........

Seriously, you did not just say that?

Flying Bassets

Ring around the Rosie

I have had enough of this

  9. YOU HAVE YOUR VERY OWN FIRE HYDRANT IN YOUR PERSONAL YARD!!! We are just beyond impressed and think you deserve 50 extra points just for managing that. We've always thought bassets had a breed advantage in the Cracker Dog category, tied closely to that incredible stubborn streak inherent in the breed. You seem to be excellent examples of your breed and good contestants for this category. Best of luck in the competition.

  13. You know what they say about hounds: two's company, three's crackers!
A very righteous entry my friends.

  16. Come run with us. Why yes, Mama *IS* restricted from *EVER* running again, after requiring back surgery many years ago because her poster-child cracker JRT needed to RUN MANY MILES every flippin' day...

Sissy needs to run too. And leap. And twirl. And try to climb trees...

Good luck!! You have our vote.
