Friendly Friday - Meet Ms. M and Mr. B Stars of - Two Pitties In The City

Today we are participating in Friendly Friday hosted by Pet Blogs United

Friendly Friday is where you do a post about another pet blog that you love. It's a way for all of us to get to know each other and to be able to make even more great friends.

We would like to introduce you to Ms. M and Mr. B the stars of Two Pitties In The City

Ms. M and Mr. B
Who could not resist two faces like that.

We absolutely love to read the daily stories of Ms. M and Mr. B, two adopted Pit Bulls..  Their human secretary that assists in their blogging does a wonderful job of explaining and showing the world how great these Two Pitties are that live in the City (of Chicago).  Their humans take them to every place imaginable in the City of Chicago.  On occasion they will wear a camera and give us their daily walk in 10 snap shots.  Their humans are doing everything they can do to show the realities of pit bull ownership and how they really are an amazing breed.

So if you get a chance hop by and say "HI" to our blogging buddies Ms. M and Mr. B and check out the daily journeys of Two Pitties In The City.  Our human wishes that we would take some notes from Ms. M and Mr. B on how to act when out in public.  Our brother Winston still has some overzealous moment's when he is outside on a journey.  Of course I (Cleo) and Amiee are Velcro dogs and stay attached at the knee without a problem.

We hope they bring many smiles to your faces as they have to ours.

Great Weather In Illinois

We have been having some great weather in Illinois.  We have been on long walks every night, without camera because that is just not something Mom can handle with the 3 of us on leashes.  We have a few pictures on how each one of us have been enjoying the nice weather.

This is all of us having a brief time of sibling love.

Okay, I have had enough of this.  I am going to find a more comfortable spot.

This is much better. Comfy, out of the sun and nobody trying to rub butts with me.

Winston and Amiee surely know where to enjoy a nice day.

Of course, Winston takes the dirt and leaves, typical boy.  Amiee takes the comfy bed.

I am not going to turn around so you can take my picture.  I am sleeping.

Amiee had enough of the nice weather and went for the nice comfy bed.

Winston seems to be the only that knows how to enjoy a good weather day in Illinois.

How do you spend your nice fall days!

On-Line Auction -- Buck$ for Ba$$et$

Buck$ for Ba$$et$ – Let the Bidding Begin
Note:  There are lots of other things beside Basset Stuff as well

I have a very good friend that began the ABC (All Bassets Cherieshed) Basset Rescue in New York.  Through her rescue Shelly also has an on-line store where you can buy lots and lots of Basset Stuff.  If you have bassets and if you are like me you have so much Basset stuff it is hard to find new Basset stuff.  Well let me tell you that I know Shelly at the Slobber Shoppe has got some of the best unique Basset stuff you can find.  And all the proceeds from the  Slobber Shoppe go directly to the ABC Basset Rescue to help more homeless bassets.

As one of the fund-raisers for them they have an online auction where anyone can bid on any of their items and possibly win it.  Once again all the proceeds go to ABC Basset Rescue.  The on-line auction runs from October 11 – October 24.   So why not follow the link below and see what type of Basset items are available that you just can’t live without.  I know there are several items that I am bidding on and hope I win.  Of course, I would like to bring your attention to the one item that is available for bidding.  It is the item that I hand cross-stitched and made especially for Shelly’s on-line auction.

I just wanted everyone to see it.  My Donation

Link to On-Line Auction.    Buck$ for Ba$$et$

Hopefully you can find some good basset stuff and support Basset Rescue

GABR Transport - (Peanut) 10-8-2010

Earlier in the week Mom was contacted to do a transport for GABR.  The arrangements were made to pick Peanut up in Peoria at the Pet Resort that had been holding her.  Peanut was going to her Foster Mom till she finds her fur-ever home.

Peanut is a 7 year young female basset.  She loved to ride in the car, greeted anyone and even tried to get in a ladies car (not the foster mom)  while being walked.  Here are a slide show we put together for your viewing pleasure.
